Illustrated by Kapil Sharma

“69 is the pattern that today’s youth finds themselves tangled in, as they navigate through a changing social environment. set in Bandra, the conflict between traditionally inculcated values and a global perspective is explored over two twisted relationships in one man’s life. Kapil Sharma belongs to a lineage of Rajasthani miniature artist family wherein he is the sixth generation artist. Heavily inspired by the Miniature Art of his late grandfather, Mr. Ghanshyam Sharma, Kapil started his imaginative journey at the age of nine.

By the age of fourteen, his interest in contemporary art and design introduced him to a new environment- one in which he was encouraged to combine the virtuosity of a miniature master and the aesthetic sensibility of the early modernist.

Kapil graduated in Visual Communication from the National Institute of Design in 2004.

His ability to scrutinize contemporary themes in unconventional styles has brought him admiration of his peers and collectors, all over the world.
